Emmy loved the sitcom's actors but never acknowledged the show or its writers. So the stars did an amazing job saying...nothing worthwhile?

Yea I never understood that. Roseanne should have won a few emmys. It was the best sitcom on tv for quite a few years. Then again I think The Cosby Show only won one. The Emmys are idiots sometimes.

The worst part, Roseanne wasn't even nominated as a series. That's more appalling than it never winning, because, really, the winners of best comedy series in the 90s probably did deserve it.
