I was watching the new season 1 dvd release and the episode Mall Story is running about a little over 22 minutes long. I believe that it is uncut because it has the original opening at the beginning. It said that all eps are uncut on the dvd set so maybe that is the original length to that specific episode.

It's about 22:30 on the german and australian DVDs, so my guess is it originally ran short.

The longest shows run for now are 21 to 22 minutes. They usually end at 22 minutes on the dot. If it is 22:30 that is considered unedited because it is a few seconds over standart length.

In the late 1980s tv shows ran for 23-24 minutes, so 22:30 would be short at that time. But I guess it happens.

The syndicated version of this episodes has a run time of 21:51. So the show in your dvd set and the newest one I got must be unedited.
