I am very excited! :) They're being released by Mill Creek Entertainment. I have never heard of them. Have any of you heard of them?

A long time ago when I first heard that season 1 DVD of Roseanne was syndicated I thought ' oh, well that is it.' and never believed for one second that they would ever re-release it again. But why are the putting out season 2 again? I guess that was syndicated as well...

No, the Anchor Bay/Starz DVD releases of seasons 2-9 were the unedited, uncut versions. I guess Mill Creek is releasing all 9 seasons for 2 reasons:

1.) The original Anchor Bay/Starz releases are now out of print.
2.) They are trying to make money.


Also, I e-mailed Mill Creek Entertainment and asked if there would be extra features and English subtitles. They responded within an hour (very professional!), and told me that there would be closed captioning and more extra features than the Anchor Bay/Starz releases. I'm not sure if "more" meant "the same" extra features and then some new ones, or what ... nonetheless, I was glad to read that. :)

I'm also excited for the 10 Favorites DVD and the Halloween re-issue (Tricks and Treats) with the season 9 Halloween episode (Satan, darling) finally included.

It's like they are finally releasing "Roseanne" on DVD the RIGHT way, the way that it should've been done in the first place.

Oddly, though, Roseanne has said nothing about this on her blog. With the past releases, she gushed about them every time.

Oh, well.
