If you read in between the lines, it sounds like the Olsons would have been willing to continue if ABC Family had come through with more money. They didn't.

Olsens pull out of cable series, eye big screen
Jan. 10, 2002

PASADENA -- They've been on TV since they were in diapers, but now at 15, they've set their sights on becoming movie stars. Teen tycoons Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen are bowing out of their ABC Family sitcom "So Little Time," produced by the Olsens' Dualstar Prods., after completing 26 episodes. The twins are poised to strike a feature deal in the near future, according to Dualstar Entertainment CEO Robert Thorne. "So Little Time," which bowed last year, was one of the erstwhile Fox Family Channel's highest-rated offerings, along with other Olsen-related series and telefilms. The channel ran its fifth Olsen twins marathon of 2001 on New Year's Eve. The new ABC Family regime wanted to keep "So Little Time" but not at any price. And the teens are hot right now in the retail world with the fast-growing "tween" demo, the kids who grew up watching them on ABC's long-running "TGIF" sitcom "Full House."(Cynthia Littleton)

So they quit just because they wanted more money? Just goes to show that they can not keep a series running longer than 2 seasons, well except for Full house, but they wern't together and there were a lot of other charachters too. I really liked TOAK better than SLT, but I didn't hate it. Face it, the *cute twin thing* isn't in anymore.

I hate this show too. The reason I hate it is because it is so fake and predictable. It is sort of life Two of a Kind. I think they arent as good as they used to be becasue they have gotten older and they are still in babyish roles.

So Little Time, barely began to be good!

These twins should be more commited to their TV fans instead of cancelling every show after 23 episodes.

Both, "Two Of A Kind," and "So Little Time," were cancelled at their prime. (by them!)

Greedy bitch*es!

They should of considered the fan base the show had, the show was *successful* on Fox Family.

Just goes to show what kinds of people they are:lol:

Oh dear, uniquely in this world, those awful satanic Olsen twins wanted more money. For God's sake, guys...

I though SLT had a lot of promise. However, though both are very talented, they will only ever get "cute twin roles". Some of their movies were alright on the eyes and ears; and they even occasionally got in some satire.

I think they certainly have a future. However, branching out might be a good idea-individually, I mean.

Am I the only one who thought they were never really talented?

So they wanted more money. How much more do they need.? Read in People magazine the two girls are worth 76 milllion. They are raking in money as we write. As for the show, never watched it. I'm too old for kid shows.

No, I agree with you. They got through show business on their "good" looks.

These girls already have enough money. Any money they make from their products should go to charity! They are greedy, money grubbing b*tches!! I never cared for them.

It doesn't suprise me that they quit that show, any show or movie that they've ever made was NEVER good enough for the both of them, lets face it, their both rude cruel, selfish bitches(please exuse my french), all they ever want is is money,.....money,money, money........And they think their better than everybody else, and their perfect, well guess what, olsen twins suck! I'm so sick of the crap that their trying to sell like:
hairdryers, clothes, shoes, bedding, Cd player, towels, jelwerey, shampoo, nobody is gonna by that lousy crap, I personally feel they don't have a future as movie stars, the only way a movie production will take them seriously is when they both grow up and mutare!

You don't even know them. I do...And I tell you this here, they're not "rude cruel selfish bitches".

Oh,l I'm guessing you have met them, work with them, or you are a realtive of them...am I right?
I said that because, I heard ALOT of 'celebrity talk' on them, and how they appear all cute and sweet, but when you really get to know them behind the camera, their not all 'cute, sweet, and cool' their VERY demanding. And your right about one thing I don't know them, but I'm a month older than they are, and believe me, if I were them, I wouldn't be so selfish, and greedy, I mean HELLO, theirs more to life than just money, you know what I'm saying, I'm not saying that I'm not a regular American girl, I mean don't get me wrong, I love to go shopping, movies, nails, and all that fun stuff, but I like chill with my family and friends, and maybe thats what they need to do, instead of focusing on hot cash, you get my flow?

I'm a friend of theirs, yes.

I do see what you're saying, but I have to say, rumours aren't always true. They spend plenty of time with their family, and friends; I saw them last week, and I live over one thousand miles away.

Though of course they're career-oriented (they've been raised that way), I wouldn't say they were greedy. They know their priorities. Also, their mom does deal with a lot of the business, so if anyone is obsessed with money, it's her.

Behind the camera, well, they're not really demanding. Their mom can be. But they, themselves, are actually pretty easy going on set, etc.

oh, ok, and yea your right about rumors not always being true, and I don't know them, I mean when I was younger (10,11) I wanted to meet them, but now that I'm older I don't really like seeing them playing the same baby characters(well you know what I mean), and I feel they need to play more muture characters, I know that "3 Men and a Baby3" will more than likely have auditions sometime this summer, I feel that if one of them, either Mary-Kate or Ashley, would atleast audition for the role of Mary(shes 18, the character is suppose to be pretty wild, but muture too), and maybe then I would speak different about them. Their movies(like 'when in rome') are getting old, if they truley want to be recongized, they need to give it their all, find a good path to stardom, and stay on it, don't hop on, and get off, I mean i know I have very few chances of becoming an actress, but I will stop at nothing to be an actress, if I have to work on atv show for a long time(like say 5 seasons) I'll do that, then I can slowely move into the movie bussiness, and just curious, but do they plan on going to college? I've already planned on going to CSULA, major in Drama/Acting, starting my tv debute at Paramount(thats my dream job, I love Paramount Studios, it such a historical, fun, awesome place), So I apolgize for calling them that, I'm wrong about them, and I acknoldge that. It would cool though to meet somebody my age, doing right now what I'm dreaming to do. Ok, i'll say it, even though I'm one month older than them, they've inspired me alittle bit, to be an actress. And just curious have they been to Texas? And are you the same age they are(just curious)?Originally posted by Owen

Hey;

I'll mention that people say 3 Men and a Baby III would be a good step for them.

They DO plan on going to college...When, that's what they don't know.

Yeah, they've been to Texas-but I don't think they were there for long. They spend most of their time in CA.

I'm 15.
