Is anyone addicted to a theme song currently? I am. And to what sitcom is embarassing=. <cough>Three's a Crowd<cough> And when I play the ending theme I say Three's a Crowd as been videotaped in front of a studio audience when Joh Ritter says it. And I sing along. Good thing no one's home right now. Alos, the last season DS theme.
"The Hogan Family"(1986-1991)and "All My Children(the piano version of the current one,1970-)I am also completely stuck on the theme to "Super Password"(1984-1989

I forgot about Family Ties when I posted. That's a great theme too. Always loved that one.

Are you kidding me?
That's one of my pet peeves about modern shows. NONE of them have any good theme songs anymore. It's all orchestra, mood music, or talk overs.
I grew up with 80's jingleicious shows, with awesome catch theme songs that when you hear gives you the whole flavor and a montage of memories about the show, and gets you totally jazzed up.
Off the top of my head, I loved TJ Hooker, Hardcastle & McCormmick, Wonder Woman, Rockford Files, Greatest American Hero, Good Times, The Jeffersons, Simon & Simon, Buck Rogers (yes, a talk-over), and loads more.
From just hearing the title of the show I can call up the theme song (with memories) and get it stuck in my head.
I with there'd be a theme song revival in current shows. But if you think about it, in the 70's/80's there used to be alot of adrenaline action shows, with corresponding theme songs, but all the shows are grisly crime dramas, supernatural soap operas, or bland sitcoms (which aren't good for catchy jingles), unless you want to subject yourself to Walker, Texas Ranger.
I completely ignored the comedy genre. ah well.

It always bugged me that EVERYBODY LOVES RAYMOND didn't have a catchy
theme song. Most episodes had no theme music at all.

I'm obsessed with the theme to Valerie/The Hogan Family. Can't hear it enough. Sing it in the shower. Sometimes I loop it in the background while I surf the net. Yeah...
