It's going to be great having the ladies here in town. Unfortunately, I won't be able to attend the ceremony as I have a prior commitment, but I can't wait to watch the coverage!!!

CLEVELAND, Ohio— The red carpet was rolled out on the steps of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum on Wednesday night. The stars of the hit TV Land sitcom "Hot in Cleveland" were in town for a special viewing party of the season premiere.

"We're enjoying old fashioned comedy, we're not trying to prove anything," said Betty White, 89. "We're just doing an old fashioned sitcom that can please and reach everybody."

"Hot in Cleveland" is heating-up the summer as TV Land's most successful show kicks-off a new season with the stars stopping for a visit with their fans. "They're all four beautiful women, talented women," said one woman who waited outside the Rock Hall.

"Oh my God," said actress Jane Leeves. "We're just so overwhelmed by the welcome we've received! And this is my first time in Cleveland and - you shouldn't really tell anybody this - but it's beautiful here!"

Leeves, Valerie Bertinelli and Wendie Malick joined Betty White for the premiere party and gave a special thanks for the people in Cleveland. "Real people, real kind, good, strong-hearted people that will survive," said Bertinelli.

"It's a funny show, it's based - I know it's not filmed here - but it's based on Cleveland and it brings a lot of positive stuff to this town," said another viewer.

Betty White spent the day at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo before heading to the Rock hall, where the whole cast toured the new Women Who Rock exhibit, profiling artists like Darlene Love, who was inducted this year. "You know, for them to put me in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame has just a dream come true," said Love.

It was an all-around honor for the celebrities and the fans of "Hot in Cleveland", who let Betty White know why she really is 'hot' in Cleveland. "Look at her at her age, she's beautiful, she's talented and she's hot in Cleveland!"

"We want to say such a big 'thank you'," said Betty White, "Not only for them waiting here tonight but for the support they've given us on the show, deeply appreciated."

The new season of "Hot in Cleveland" features 12 new episodes that run all summer on TV Land.
