Ok....when the time came to decide which shows were going on to the next season at CBS that particular year Gilligan's Island got cancelled, Gunsmoke was originaly cancelled and Gilligan's Island would of had at least another season...but the network prez was on vacation when all this was happening (I don't know why the prez would be absent at a time like this!), so he didn't know what was what. So when he got back he was shocked to see is beloved Gunsmoke (his fav show) cancelled...so he ordered another show to be cancelled so Gunsmoke could be back on....well, Gilligan's Island was it (there may of been another show cancelled cuz Gunsmoke is an hour long show...but it didn't say ne thing in the Gillian's Island True Hollywood Story). So..there you go!

This goes way back!!!!!!! Dr. Kildare vs. Ben Casey!Both were doctor shows onduring the early 60's.

This was a great one, and CH was always referring to ER, such as when a disgruntled patient said "I'm going to County (General, the "ER" hospital). Everyone goes there.", referring to ER's much higher ratings. Then, there was the time the management of CH hired a PR firm to do a promotional video. When the staff watched it, it turned out to look just like the opening credits of ER, but with the CH staff. Finally, there was the classic episode where Noah Wyle walks in, looks around and says, "Wrong hospital." The rest of the staff chased him out the door. Noah is Mandy Patinkin's godson, so he did the cameo as a favor.
