Hey I been watching the whole Leave it to Beaver series on DVD every weekend mourning since April. I'm almost done with season 3. And there's something I dont understand. Now in the first season the neighbor kid Benji and his family lived accross the street from The Cleavers in season 1. When The Cleavers lived in the first house right? Well then The Cleavers moved into the new house. And did Benji and his family moved too and just happen to buy a house right accross from The Cleavers new house? As Walley states in one episode in season 3 that Benji lived accross that street. Unless I'm wrong. Or did The Cleavers buy the house on the same street as the old house?And Benji and his family did not live accross the street from them in season 1 and season 2 as well.

You're actually confusing two different characters. The neighbor kid who lived across the street from the Cleavers in season 1 was Bengie (Joey Scott). The neighbor kid who lived across the street from the Cleavers after they moved was Chuckie (Rory Stevens). The characters do have similar names and the actors who portrayed them look similar so it's easy to confuse them as being the same character. I've made that same mistake myself in the past.

Well Bengie must not of lived to far from The Cleavers house. As he was in the magic episode. The episode where Bengie thought Beaver turned into a rock. Also sorry for spelling Bengie's name wrong. I thought his name was spelled the same way as the dog Benji.
