No "Desperate" Plans for Susan Lucci

Despite rumors to the contrary, Susan Lucci isn’t moving to Wisteria Lane any time soon.

Former “All My Children” star Elizabeth Rodriguez told PopEater.com that with "AMC" about to end, the soap queen’s primetime future on the ABC hit was all but a lock.

"She's going to 'Desperate Housewives' apparently,” Rodiguez explained.





Not so, according to a source close to the show who spoke with The Scoop’s Courtney Hazlett.

“There is no truth to this rumor,” the insider insisted.

Is Susan Lucci moving from Pine Valley to Wisteria Lane?

The "All My Children" alum says she's been talking to "Desperate Housewives" creator Marc Cherry about joining the prime-time soap.

"There's been a lot of talking, but we'll see," she told Access Hollywood at the Daytime Emmys. "It's a show I like very much, of course. The cast is amazing. Marc Cherry is amazing."
