It's been snowing here in Mid-Georgia for two days! LOL I haven't seen snow, in like, forever! The best part is that we don't have school for two days because of the snow :D So we got an extended vacation LOL
:( :p So not right. We were supposed to get three inches but it passed right over us. It snowed, but didn't stick, which stinks. Actually, it's still snowing lightly, but the ground is too wet for it to stick. -ahem- At least it's snowing! I haven't seen snow in over a decade. I love it! :happyface
Congrats on gettin' out of school, Sean Fenney...but I'm sure you're really saddened by it-deep down;)
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!

I live in northwest North Carolina and it's snowing here too. We were supposed to go back to school today, but it got "snowed out." Of course, we'll have to make it up later........

lol, I find that REALLY funny....and sad. Right now, I still have AT LEAST 20 inches (some melted) of snow on the ground and I still have school. It's soooooo funny how when people in the south get like, 5 inches of snow everything closes down, schools and bussinesses are closed and everyone starts freakin out. that's.......kinda pathetic. Enough snow to make a FOOTPRINT and you're hoarding gas, stealing food, and closing down the city. lol, no offense to anyone in the south, it's just funny to me cuz I live in the Northeast and all we get is snow.

LOL We're not doing that here! Okay, so we stole our neighbors chicken...just in case :D LOL J/K What's so bad about school being closed lol? And we do not run! We gently ask Scarlett to move 'er caboose. LOL The only thing peeps are worried about here are the bridges. There are one layer of ice on them, and two layers of snow lol

I still can't believe it snowed in Georgia. That is a very rare thing. I'm still off for Christmas break, so they didn't close school here. For those that got snow, enjoy it. :)
My school district went ahead and cancelled school for tomorrow too. We were supposed to go back the third, now we'll go back the seventh. There goes our long weekend in February........

You all should be glad you get snow. All we get is 365 days of sun shine even when it rains. And when it does rain it only lasts for like a few hours.

LOL I know! If we got 5 inches, they would plow it and we'd have school. but it works the other way too, I guess. When hurricane Floyd came through, it was near like the outer banks and NJ had a state of emergency. :) I talked to someone in SC and they were going to school!

lol, yeah I guess you're right.........a hurricane has never hit here before (at least while I've been alive) so I guess that if it did we'd all freak out too :) hehe

LOL, Kellie. Snow is like an abnoraml thing to see here in the South, so everyone down here LOVES it...almost everyone that is. I know what you mean about the dramatic weather circumstances between the North and South. I remember watching FOX in September and it was 70 in NY and they were claiming it was burning up. It was 85 down here until about December so I woulda loved some of that 70 degrees weather:)

Aw, it ain't that bad. :D Anyways, it's pretty funny that the south has snow, and we don't...right now. We're supposed to be getting a Nor'easter on Sunday. Heh. How much snow do you people have in the South? We've had some pretty bad blizzards here before but not nearly as bad as poor Buffalo has it.

Yeah, I miss the snow, I barely remember it from when we lived in NY, but it's always pretty, even if it is a hassle...and we don't get any snow days... :( I'm very sad, but I don't go back to school till Jan. 16th anyways...hehe :D

I lived in Florida for about 5 years. In that time we had all sorts of weather for Christmas. One year, it was 100 and mom wouldn't let us go to the beach on Christmas Day or the day after (it's my dad's birthday)
Then one year we actually had SNOW, in Florida. I was shocked and had a good laugh about it because we had just moved from Tennessee which gets its fair share of snow. It didn't snow alot, but it snowed enough to where it stuck to the ground for a little over a day. Our house was the last one to have any snow/ice because our driveway was covered with trees so it protected it. We used our driveway as an icerink and "skated" on it with our sneakers. lol
It was pretty neat. :)

Well ok it isn't THAT bad lol... but I cannot wait for the Nor'ester!!! Know why?
1] I get paid for shoveling
2] More snow to go skiing in
3] No school. I didn't do my History project!
