CLEVELAND, Ohio -- An employee of Cleveland's Building and Housing Department was arrested at Cleveland's City Hall on Friday for her role in an April Fool's Day prank.
Lt. Sam Morris tells Fox 8 News officers received a call of shots fired at 601 Lakeside Avenue at approximately 9:39 am. Several officers were responding to the call when they received word from police dispatchers that the call was a prank.
According to Lt. Morris, Rhodia Wallace, 30, of Bedford, an employee of the Building and Housing Department had called her boyfriend and told him that shots had been fired inside city hall. The boyfriend then called 911 and reported the alleged incident to police.
