If memory serves, he played a college friend of Mike's who got married. The conflict was the at some point he made a pass at Gloria and Gloria didn't like him and didn't know whether she should tell Mike about it. I want to say their names were "Chuck and Trudie" but I'm not sure.

The couple were even named as Joey's godparents until Archie and Edith got upset, and Mike and Gloria decided that "they weren't going to die".

I remember that episode vaguely. I never realized Billy was on it. Thank you retro!

I think it was, he was an old friend of Mikes, and he and his fiancee were set to get married at the Stivics house one night (this was one of the episodes after Mike & Gloria moved out) and before they came over Mike and Gloria had an argument about something, and they were trying to hide from everyone that they were mad at each other, but when Mike read something out loud during the wedding, they made up. I don't remember that other stuff, though.
