I was wondering if anyone knew anything about the man who does the voiceovers and promos for Nick at Nite? He has the most distinctive voice.
For example, the currently running promo, his emphatic "No we won't!" when Mallory asks if Nick will ever be accepted.
You know the voice,
"Is it a double take? It's gotta be a double take."
"100% Sitcoms, 100% Un-reality."

His name is Isaac Hayes, he's a singer and an actor. His contract was not renewed so they have a new voiceover guy now.

Singer of the popular 70s song and theme from the popular movie "Shaft" and the voice of Chef on "South Park".

Thanks. That's interesting that it was Isaac Hayes. He's a talented artist. I wonder who's doing the voiceovers now.

I never would have guessed that it was Issac Hayes!

He has also worked as a DJ at WBLS-FM in New York City for quite some time, featuring an Urban/Contemporary format. (I'm not sure if he's still doing that - I listen to "Classic Rock" myself))
