shout factory is putting out the remainning final dvd of all in the family, i pray and hope that as a bonus feature they will include The 1969 unaired pilot those were the days that i saw on tv land and on youtube.

Actually there were two pilots, Justice For All (1968) and Those Were The Days (1969), and were included on Sony's Norman Lear Collection as extras. Unfortunately, Shout!'s only extra on the season 9 set of AITF, is the 1 hour retrospective special shown that season. That's all thanks to Sony, who didn't provide the pilots to Shout!, which should have been put on the first season set way back when, anyhow! :mad:

Im just glad the original CBS airing of the 90 min flashback never seen in syndication is being added as a bonus feature

i wrote to shout factory and i told them that they should consider on putting the original unaired pilot on the dvd sets as extras which would look amazing here is the email address SHOUT@B3CUSTSERV.COM

There is nothing Shout! Factory can do about including either of the original pilots, or anything else, unless Sony provides the material! Just like they have to go through furthur negotiations to obtain Archie Bunker's Place. That's why I think its fortunate that 90 minute flashback program will be included on this set.
