First Look: Valerie Bertinelli & Bonnie Franklin Reunite on 'Hot In Cleveland'

Valerie Bertinelli once again shares the screen with Bonnie Franklin — who played mom Ann to Bertinelli's Barbara on One Day at a Time — on the January 26 episode of TV Land's Hot in Cleveland.

Franklin plays the mother of Melanie's boyfriend, Pete. "She takes an immediate dislike to [Bertinelli's] Melanie," says creator Suzanne Martin. But off camera things were much happier. "It was a dream come true, because I haven't worked with Bonnie in over 20 years," Bertinelli tells TV Guide Magazine. "I must say I was a little nervous. I wanted her to have a really special, good time."

I think they do, b/c I saw an interview where Valerie said Bonnie is like her second mom. :) And Bonnie told the audience during the filming of the episode that she's so proud of how Valerie turned out. Aww!
