Ray Romano has claimed that television comedy series struggle in a late-night slot.
NBC is currently planning to move 30 Rock to 10/9c and Outsourced to a new 10.30/9.30c slot beginning January 20, while ABC will launch new sitcom Happy Endings at 10/9c on April 13.
Everybody Loves Raymond star Romano told reports at the TCA press tour: "I think they got their work cut out for them."
The actor, who currently appears in TNT comedy-drama Men of a Certain Age added: "It's hard to get people to watch our show at 10pm and it's geared to adults. If it's a more adult-skewed sitcom then maybe [the time-slot could work]. I would be surprised if that works."
