Is it just me, or does this not feel like Christmas? We have a tree and presents under it; our house is decorated...it seems like it should be the 4th of July instead of Christmas! What's wrong?! It didn't even feel like my birthday a couple of weeks back. Weirdness.

It's me and you both. I think it has something to with the terrorist attacks in September. Everything kind of rushed by but it was like time was standing still (makes no sense I know). Anyway, I was listening to the radio this morning and they were talking about how really this year has been two years-pre and post September11th, and how probably NO ONE remembers what they did on September10th but can recall every second of September11th. It's just weird... Maybe it will feel like Christmas tomorrow-I hope so!

You know, I'm so glad someone said that cos I don't feel Christmassy either. I was beginning to think I was the only one.
In fact, I find Christmas to be one of the most depressing times of the year. The 3 most depressing days of the year are Christmas day, Valantines day and my birthday. I think it's cos everyone expects you to be with tonnes of friends and people that love you on those particular days....and I don't have tonnes of friends and people that love me.
I'm not trying to sound all self-pitying or anything. It's just how I feel. Does anyone know what I'm getting at?

I remember what I was doing September 10. I was thinking of myself. Nobody else. I remember arguing with my Mom about why we souldn't take that trip to San Antonio in December. After the 11, I remember thinking about how glad I was that we weren't going. I should have slapped myself for being so selfish.

Anyway, sometimes its hard to get into the Christmas spirit in the wake of a tragedy.

I remember what I did September 10. My psycho problems were acting up and I went crazy all day. I calmed down on the 11th.
LOL.

LOL on September 10 I think I was drunk, that was my sisters bf's party. It was like "Coors Light" night, right! Then on the 11th I woke up and saw on the news that there had been a plane crash to the first tower. LOL anywho it never feels like Christmas, it's just boring :(

This is really weird, I was talking to my friend a few days ago about how it doesn't seem like its Christmas. I'm glad I wasn't the only one that feels this way. That's what I told him about the Sept. 11th attack, how some people don't feel up to the partying mood. My family didn't put up a tree or decorate this year. This year has just been very depressing.

I hope next year is much better.

I really can't remember what I did Sept. 10th. I remember exactly what I was doing the 11th though. I was sitting in Literature class and a teacher came into the room to talk to my Literature teacher. The tv gets turned on and then it turned into one big nightmare. :(

I really hope that you have someone to share the day with!
A very Happy Christmas to you and yours!
I should mention that my wonderful husband is here with me! He's great! So I am not alone!

Still, that's four to many...that's noneof my business though so disregrad that statement.

One beer made you drunk?

I wish I was back in Los Angeles right now. I hate the weather in Oklahoma! One day it's 70 degrees then the next day it's totally freezing!! I just wish it would snow, and maybe it would feel more like the Christmas season. I am, however, hyped about the New Years!!

You know, even opening my gifts this morning, it didn't feel like Christmas. Well I have a problem, I hate the holidays this year, don't ask why but anyways... It just felt like a day in spring or something. It's very weird. Also I've noticed as how you get older, Christmas sometimes losses it's affect on you...:(

Yep, whether you're drunk or not, ya shouldn't be drinking underage...in my opinion, ya shouldn't drink at all, it only ruins your body and has the potential for a lotta problems: drunk driving, addiction....but anyways...

Yeah, it hasn't felt like Chritmas to me either...it's not the usual cheer or happiness or joy...we're too afraid and scared as a people to enjoy it. :(
