I don't know if he counts as sitcom-related, but I've also seen keith Carradine in Will Rogers Follies.

I saw last year in Chicago at Lookingglass Theatre a production of "Our Town" with Joey Slotnick (the Single Guy) and David Schwimmer "Ross from Friends" performing the parts of the Stage Manager (Joey) and George (David)

it isnt sitcom related but also saw Gary Sinise perform with his band the LT Dan Band at the Chicago Air and Water Show

I probably can't remember all the actors from each filming/taping, but I will mention those that I can remember:

1) Lucy Comes to Nashville taped 9/12/78, aired 11/19/78: Lucille Ball

2) Johnny Cash special from Grand Ole Opry House (I forget the actual name.) taped approx. 4/9/79, aired 5/9/79: Martin Mull (He conducted a comic interview w/ Johnny.)

3) Barry Williams appearing in his one-man show at Eastfield College, Mesquite, TX: 10/3/95; starring in The Music Man from Fair Park Music Hall, Dallas, TX: approx. 7/3/97

4) Politically Incorrect taped & aired 9/15/98: Marilu Henner

5) The Roseanne Show (talk show) taped 9/16/98, aired 9/17/98: Roseanne

6) Suddenly Susan "Sleeping with the Enemy" filmed 9/18/98, orig. aired 10/12/98: Brooke Shields, Kathy Griffin, Judd Nelson, Nestor Carbonell, David Strickland (died 6 mos later), Andrea Benewald (Barbara Barrie did not appear in this ep, and Tom Poston appeared in a prefilmed scene but was not in the studio or the audience that night.)

7) Becker "One Wong Move" filmed 9/12/00, orig. aired 10/23/00: Ted Danson, Hattie Winston, Terry Farrell, Alex Desert, Saverio Guerra, Shawnee Smith (Richard Hatch had just won the first Survivor and made a cameo appearance in this ep.); I chose to attend this filming over other sitcoms, though I rarely watched the show, because it included a free tour of Paramount the next day, where I got to see a lot of the outdoor locations used to film The Brady Bunch.

8) According to Jim "Dana Dates Jim" filmed 10/10/03, orig. aired 10/28/03: Jim Belushi, Courtney Thorne-Smith, Kimberly Williams-Paisley, Larry Joe Campbell

10) The Tonight Show with Jay Leno taped & aired 11/7/05: Dana Carvey (if you count his SNL continuing skits) (Steve Irwin "The Crocodile Hunter" also appeared this night, less than a year before he died.)

11) Yes, Dear "Christine the Spy" filmed 11/9/05, orig. aired 1/11/06: Anthony Clark, Mike O'Malley, Jean Louisa Kelly, Liza Snyder, Brian Doyle-Murray

12) Twins "Musical Chairs" filmed 11/10/05, orig. aired 12/9/05: Sara Gilbert, Molly Stanton, Mark Linn-Baker, Melanie Griffith

Wow! You've seen a lot of actors on some great shows. Out of your entire list I would have loved to see Lucille Ball, even though she was 67 years old.

Here's my list:

1991: I saw Mark-Paul Gosselaar (Saved by the Bell) when he was signing autographs at a local toy store. I still have the autographed picture!!

1992: I saw Candace Cameron (Full House) when she was signing autographs at a local mall, and I still have the autographed picture!! Thank goodness, because the line was so long they cut it off only a few people behind us!!

1998: My family and I went to CA on vacation and saw a taping of The Tonight Show. The guests were Whoopi Goldberg (who went onto her own sitcom, Whoopi) and Jon Cryer (who went onto Two and a Half Men).

1999: I went to Toronto with my mom to a Whose Line is it Anyway? fan convention and got to see Colin Mochrie!!

2001: I went back to CA to visit friends and saw a taping of Whose Line. Not only was Colin there, of course, but there was Drew Carey and Ryan Stiles (The Drew Carey Show was also still on the air at the time). Jeff Davis was also in that taping, and later on went onto co-star in the short-lived NBC sitcom Happy Family.

2005: I met many of the cast of Little House on the Prairie in Tombstone, AZ at the Western Film Festival. I know LHOP is not a sitcom (although the scenes with the Oleson family might make it close ), but many of the cast had guest-starred on sitcoms before and after LHOP.

I've never been to any tapings or performances but I have met a handful of sitcom people:

1998: Butch Patrick (Eddie Munster of The Munsters) at BigAppleCon

2006: Ken Foree (Mr. Rockmore of Kenan & Kel) at BigAppleCon

2007: Danielle Harris (Molly of Roseanne) at BigAppleCon

I remember my parents being unimpressed w/ both Nashville tapings. In 1/79, my mom got to see what she thought was a much better taping, "Carol & Dolly in Nashville", which opened w/ a funny shot in dark sillouette of Carol Burnett & Dolly Parton back-to-back, showing out their much different "endowments". :)

I forgot one other live meeting: my brother & I met William Christopher of M*A*S*H outside the Hill's Dept. Store in Hendersonville, TN, some Sat. afternoon in 5/82. Mr. Christopher was in costume as Father Mulcahy, and he signed an autographed pic for me w/ "Blessings from MASH", and he posed for a pic between my brother & me, which my brother had (and may still have) as a slide.

I also got to hear Mike Farrell speak and then meet and be photographed with him . I have also heard Ann Jillian speak and met her and Ed O Neil of Married With Children as well.

Last year, I also got to hang out with and party with Jeremy Piven (Ari) of Entourage. And when I was extra on ER, I was flirted with by John Stamos (Full House) and was directed by Laura Innes (Wings)

Yet a couple more, due to the great networks that Nick-at-Nite and TV Land used to be:

I met Paul Petersen of The Donna Reed Show, and got his autograph, on 10/06/1990 at Richardson Square Mall in Richardson, TX, during Nick's great old tour of its classic sitcom actors. I also made a karaoke recording of the theme from Mr. Ed there that day (which I still have)!

I saw Randolph Mantooth of Emergency when he appeared at Quail Springs Mall in Oklahoma City, OK, when TV Land was having its second (and final) Ultimate Fan Search. Unfortunately he spoke right before I was to compete, and the line was starting as I was competing, so it was too long for me to get his autograph that day. Fortunately I won the local competition that day and got a free trip (with my dad) to New York to compete in the national televised competition, hosted by Chuck Woolery. I didn't do so well there, but it was overall a fun experience.

Harry Connick Jr (well, it was a concert, but he was on Will and Grace!)
Jerry Seinfeld (Once in Seattle and once at Casear's Palace in Vegas)

OMG, that is hilarious! I was there too! I had forgotten about the date! How weird is that?! Such a small world! Too bad they tore down Richardson Square, isn't it? I miss that place and I live in Seattle now! I didn't get Paul's autograph, but I did watch the presentation that he did. I can't remember... weren't there other stars there as well?

That's funny, I didn't realize that the mall had been torn down for certain until I just looked it up on Wikipedia. I went by there a month ago when I was in the area and was trying to find out how to get into the mall, but it's all been replaced by outdoor structures. I guess I missed the news about this mall!

There were no other celebrities at the mall that day. What Nick was doing was it would have one celebrity at each city for the national tour. One other celebrity that did a different city (that I can remember) is Alan Young of Mr. Ed, who would've been a youngster of 70 back then! :)

The same was true of the TV Land UFS. One celebrity would be in each city and do a presentation. For instance Mr. T was in San Francisco about the same time for the same purpose. As I mentioned before, since Mr. Mantooth did his presentation right before I went onstage to compete, and I had to wait "backstage", I missed both the presentation, aside from what I could hear from behind, and getting his autograph.

Since I'm big on including dates, the UFS Competition in OKC was 06/10/2000, and my appearance in NYC, when I competed in the UFS and spoke with Chuck Woolery, was taped 06/24/2000 and originally aired on TV Land 08/07/2000.
