That is the question. I mean no, Charlie isn't going anywhere... (Yet) However, it is quite apparent that Charlie is going down a road that he certainly may never come back from. CBS has been relatively quiet about his behavior, but maybe it is time for Charlie to disappear into rehab for awhile.Could the show survive without him or is he the star?

The silence from CBS has been deafening and their refusal to force Sheen to clean to clean up his act is pitiful.
Shut down the show and throw him into rehab before he ends up dead.

No it won't survive without him, but neither without Alan or Jake. But they only have to film one and a half seasons and then it will most likely be ending. Possibly the actors will want to move on and CBS will want to stop worrying about Charlie's antics. Though it's still one of the highest rated shows so they might not be willing to get rid of it just yet, maybe by the Spring of 2012 it won't be as big anymore so the decision will be easier.

I could see it survive without Charlie Sheens involvement.. I loved the episode when Charlie goes off to have some work done and Allan had the house all to himself, so it could go like that for a while until Charlie is cleaned up... I for one would love to see the show lead by Jon Cryer {REMEMBER, HE'S AN EMMY WINNER}
