In 2001, what were some of the best songs released? I think it was....."Whereever You Will Go" by the Calling....."I Wanna Be in Love" by Melissa Etheridge....."Whenever, Wherever" by Shakira.....and "Breathless" by the Corrs. :happyface

Faith Hill is a crossover artist. They show "There You'll Be" on Vh1, but it still shows on CMT also. So I guess it could be considered a pop song and a country song.... :)

LOL. My mother loves that song. It's great, very funny. I wanna talk about me I wanna talk about I....
I don't really know about my favorite song this year...I didn't buy too many new cds this year. I don't think anything too profound came out...Yeah, I just walked over to my cd rack...aobut 3 of them were actually produced in 2001..Many that I bought this year were from 2000- I wait 6 months from the release, cause then you can get them really cheap from a CD club... lol..my favorite cd I BOUGHT this year would be Dexter Freebish- A life of Saturdays. My favorite CD that I own that came out this year is Train- Drops of Jupiter..but that's not saying much, as I don't really like that cd in the first place. It's just better than some of these soundtracks.
