All three books from the Chicken Soup For the Teenage Soul series, Chicken Soup For the Teenage Soul on Tough Stuff, and I also like Chicken Soup For the Preteen Soul - despite the fact that I'm not a preteen, I still find that book rather enjoyable.

Black boy by Richard Wright, When I was Puerto Rican by Esmaralda Santiago. This is a good book but the author is a bit wierd, and A Child Called It by Dave Pelzer. This book is the saddest book I've ever read.
