It looks like I will be on television next month! Allow me to explain...
I do the weather reports at my school. After the principal gives the morning announcements, he turns it over to me and I give a weather update. I've been doing this off and on (in my class in first grade...all three years over the intercom at middle school...two different classes last year). Now, our local fox affilate (Birmingham, AL - WBRC) came to the school to talk to the DECA people because they helped with the Fox6 School Cleanup. Now, someone brought up me and they were interested. I then found out I would be interviewed for the "Absolutely Alabama" program for doing the weather. The first morning, I was filmed giving the weather report, interviewed and such. The next day, I was filmed checking my own personal weather instruments, looking at the sky and such. I even got a FOX6 weather jacket (really nice!). I should be on the two-to-three minute segment sometime early next month.
My apologies if I come off as bragging...I'm just excited about being on television :happyface
