:o Without sounding like a smart ass, how does TV Land ensure that TV Satisfaction is Guaranteed? Not being able to sleep this morning, I tuned in for Mary Tyler Moore (the first show after those yummy infomercials). Well, the show began at the very end of the opening credits about 10 seconds before the first scene. Neither me nor my TV were satisfied. According to their guarantee, what should happen?

I think that TV Land should let all us unsatisfied people program a day's lineup. Really!!!

In TV Land's mind, TV Satisfaction guarateed is talking over the credits, showing chopped up shows, running 12 to 14 commercials in a half hour show, scheduling Fandemoniums and then back out showing what they had scheduled ( Three's Company for example ) . Thats real TV Satisfaction, isn't it ?

These days, I get most of my TV satisfaction watching figure skating on TV. God, I can't wait for the Olympics!:happyface

Let's see:
They crunch the credits and blabber over the theme music.
They air edited shows.
They skip some episodes of shows.
They frequently air commercials between shows.
TV satisfaction guaranteed?
No. More like TV irritaion guaranteed

I have a feeling they are going to end up like Nick at Nite. I just know it.

TV land makes me mad sometimes but its not as bad Nick at Nite or better known as "The Cheers Network". I just hope that it doesn't get THAT bad. :lookaroun

Now wait just a minute. Granted, I wish either PS or FOL had one of Cheers' 2 double-take timeslots, but, it COULD be worse. How bout Kids Say the Darndest Things ALL NIGHT LONG???
MUHAHAHAHAHAHA!
Seriously, at the rate things change at N@N, Cheers will probably be confined to 4AM by this summer, so, I'm enjoying this marathon.
Does anyone besides me hate Family Ties though. If N@N REALLY wants to keep Cheers running that often, the could put FOL in FT's place
How about when they finally put some decent shows on (Taxi, The Jeffersons, Mary Tyler Moore) and show them at inconvenient times? I wish they would get rid of that wretched Leave It to Beaver and Love Boat and Andy Griffith show already. Yep, that's Tv satisfaction guaranteed.

Oh geez shut up! Wretched LITB? I don't think so. I happen to like every single show they air except Hogan's Heros, LITB is like "ONE" of their best shows. I'm certainly satisfied with the whole network. :o
