Well I have to say the most romantic thing I have ever heard was a story my friend told me about her sister's boyfriend, who was the most romantic guy I have ever heard of to date:

On the day of senior prom, these 3 guys had spent all their money on getting new tuxedos and corsages, and had forgotten to rent a limo and make reservations at a fancy restaurant for their dates, so they had to come up with something for that night. As the girls were pretty-ing themselves up for the night by getting their hair, makeup, and nails professionally done, the guys were making phone calls. Seeing as they were on the pacific coast, and knew a few friends who could help, they spent 8 hours getting everything all set for the evening.

Daniel, one of the 3 guys, called the 3 girls getting themselves ready and said, "the time to be completely ready for dinner is 6pm and that is when we will pick you up."

Well no one could have been prepared for what happened that night. Right at 6pm in front of Vanessa's house, a truck pulled up the driveway that was decorated on all sides with crepe paper and banners and stars and a moon and all sorts of glittery frills on the edges. If you looked hard enough, you could tell that some time ago it was a U-Haul truck, but they had worked hard to make it less than an eyesore. The girls were met at the door by three handsome gents in their tuxes, and the driver (a friend of theirs named Harry) helped them with a stool into the back of the truck, and found it carpeted, lit with candles attached to the walls with designer holders (and duct tape), and furnished with 3 loveseats somehow attached to the floor so they wouldn't slide around on turns. The back door was left partly open so they could breathe and still see the daylight, but not where they were going.

Once the truck finally stopped, and the girls wondering what was next, Harry opened the back and helped them down to the sidewalk where the guys in their tuxes took their arms and led them to blankets on the beach. Each blanket had a little chair for the girls to sit on and trays to eat their food with. Their food had been prepared by a friend of the guy's named Ben, who was a Junior in high school, but a master chef already, and he made it on the barbecue pits on the beach. As they ate their food (some sort of Chicken Teriyaki and steamed vegetables) the sun set in the west over the water, making for a picture perfect site so far.

Now you may wonder where the cameras were this whole time...apparently a photography major had her camera and was snapping photos left and right for the couples there at the beach. As they finished, a man in a wetsuit came up out of the sea (somehow it was planned...I was never told how) and brought a box covered with seaweed to the couples. Inside were 3 lockets, one for each of the ladies. The guys were of course attacked with kisses, and soon they had to get back into the truck and go to the prom.

When they got to the prom, they were immediately laughed at until the girls told all their friends what their dates had done for them. At the end of the night, the girls asked to go back to the beach after the prom, and they stopped at 7-11 for Slurpees before going back there and laying on the blankets, just watching the sea and the stars.

Now THAT, my dear friends, is what I call romantic. I don't know about you.

From what I heard, those 3 guys are like DYING BREEDS...I doubt I'll ever find a guy like that for me either, so don't feel bad.

I showed that to my ex-bf and he said, "oh, thanks." THAT guy has maybe ONE romantic bone in his body...but we won't go there because Gracie is not bitter. Gracie moo moves on...

This may sound dumb to some of you but here goes. Last Christmas all of my family was gathered at my mamaw and papaws house. This day he decided to ask us what we were all thankful for and when it got to my brother-in-law he put his arm and around my sister and said I am thankful for this girl right here my wife who I love so much. I thought it was sweet. But we all have different opinions.
