I have an appointment to get rated for SSI/SSDI and they need my Birth Certificate.
Only one problem...
I can't find my Birth Certificate and I have to pay $25 for a new one. I'm so damn angry about this!

Do you know if your parents ever made a copy or anything of it?

They said that they gave it to me, but I didn't see it! ohno:
Since I'm living with my brother and some of my stuff is with my parents and I can't drive, it could be anywhere!

I would go ahead and shell out the $25 for a new copy. Better safe than sorry, right? I know, it bites. Been there, done that. If the original turns up, though, then hey, you have two just in case! I would put it in a very safe and secure place so I always know where it is at all times.

Thanks.
I really don't want to pay $25, but since I have no other choice...I might as well.:(

I got disability without my birth certificate. It's the government. They have everything on file, including when you were born. I'm guessing it varies from state to state. Looks like you may have to shell out the $25 which sucks.

I hope you're able to get your birth certificate. If you live in a different state then you were born in it will be a little harder to get, but you will still be able to get it.
