I have only read "The Shining" and "It"
For those of you who read King's books, I was hoping for your opinion on a couple things:
1. Your favorite
2. The scariest
3. The most fun
I know these can overlap, but please feel free to elaborate!

Not a fan of Stephen King or fiction for that matter, but when I was in high school I did have to read Christine for a class, and quite enjoyed it. That book I can reccomend. Way better than the movie.
My favorite is "The Stand" although "On Writing" was fantastic.
The scariest is "IT" and "The Shining."
The most fun I think are his short stories "The Langoliers" and "You Know They've Got a Hell of a Band."
I'm not into horror fiction but I read Salem's Lot when I was a teenager, on a friend's recommendation. To make a long story short, it scared the f**k out of me!:faint:

My favorite: The Stand, It, The Talisman, The Long Walk, and the Dark Tower series
Scariest: It, The Shining, Salem's Lot, Pet Sematary
Most Fun: His short stories/novellas(Best collections- Night Shift, Different Seasons, and Skeleton Crew), and I recently read his new short: Blockade Billy..... Danse Macabre is a lot of fun to read.
Of his most recent books(last 10 years) I think Duma Key has been his best, and Under The Dome was a lot of fun to read, lots of great characters to like and hate.
