"Totally Banned Sunday"

I know this would never happen, but I would love it if Nick started airing a marathon of "banned" episodes. Kind of a "this is your chance" deal. Showing episodes of DS such as Hitchhikers and Bicycle Man, and FOL episodes like First Time, Dope, Front Page and Breaking Point, and the Laverne & Shirley pot episode, etc...

I was hoping that Nick at Nite would air the Bicycle Man! I know it involved guest star Gordon Jump luring Arnold and Dudley into his house for some pizza and whine, before he makes his sick demented move in this classic 1983 episode. It's funny that our local syndication channel aired during reruns in the late 1980's, but Nick will not. It's not like it's rated R with strong language. If kids are watching these shows, so what? They should know the dangers of child molesters, kids smoking pot, or rape! These things can happened to children and they need to learn about these things.

if a Facts Of Life episode involving Blair's boyfriend being a male stripper is too "taboo" for Nick, I highly doubt they'll air a DS episode involving a child molester.

The Bicycle Man could be shown on Nick At Nite if Nick edited out the child molester part. They could just say that Arnold and Dudley go to the bicycle shop, but that would be kind of boring. They can't really edit any of The Facts Of Life episodes, becuase you would be making the plots too thin. I guess they could edit the episode, Dope becuase the episode was really about Mrs. G getting a stereo for the girls.
