As you've all heard by now,Art Linkletter died at 97 today. He was the host of "House Party"during the 1950's and 1960's,as well as "People are Funny",when daytime TV was at least worth watching.Remember his popular segments on "House Party"called "Kids Say the Darnedest Things",and thenbook of the same name?Does anyone remember the late Art Linkletter?

As a child in the 50's one of my pleasant memories is watching House Party on TV while my mom was ironing. (People really did iron in the olden days!):D

Sad to see him go. He seemed like a genuinely nice guy. He spoke out against drugs after his daughter Diane died.

I do a little. He was very popular when I was a kid. He was a good man and hope he rests in peace.

I saw the revived version of "Kids Say The Darndest Things" 12 years ago with Bill Cosby and he had Art Linkletter on.
And Linkletter will be missed.
