How would you handle the following scenario? You are walking down the street on your way to work. There is a dog drowning in the canal on the side of the street. Your boss has told you if you are late one more time you get fired. What do you do?

For one thing, I would never get myself to the point to where I'm jeopardizing my job by being late just "one more time". I wouldn't even let myself be late ONCE. So I would be able to go save the dog.

I would do the same no matter what the situation was with the boss. It would be too hard to ignore the dog and just go to work and then to try to sleep at night knowing what I had done.

Save the dog, then call the local paper and tv station. That would make a great story. Man loses job to save dog. That would be a nice parting shot for your boss.

That's a great idea! Imagine the hate mail the boss would get and the amount of pressure that would be on him to rehire.
