Actually the galaxy is not distant, it is far far away. That and Luke would have to be an ancestor or something, You know...
"A long time ago in a galaxy far far away..."

But isn't "far far away" the same thing as distant? And while we're on the subject of it...he's have to be a distant relative too, wouldn't he?
And how the heck can he be my relative?! I DON'T DO SCHOOL SO I WOULDN'T HAVE TO THINK LIKE THIS!!!!
Thanks D, I blame you if my brain explodes.

Nope, far far away is different from distant ;) .
He might not be a distant relative. It would depend on whether there was a direct line in the family tree or not. An ancestor is just a relative who is no longer living. A distant relative would be like your great-uncle's great grandkids. Or something like that. :D
As for the whole relative thing, hey you never know. Stranger things have happened.
The whole exploding brain thing, doesn't something have to be there to explode.

Fine...far far away is different from distant, but they mean approximately the same things...they're synonyms, so I'm not wrong, but then again neither are you.
To be a relative, he has to be RELATED to me, and considering none of my family have ever done space travel (I did research on my whole family tree...the only travelling was my pirate ancestor...so we don't do the outer space thing.) it is safe to say Luke can't ever be a relative of mine. :p
OH and as to my brain being there? *pops the top* SEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE? It's there...it just looks funky. :D
