Since the Facebook campaign to get Betty White to host Saturday Night Live, has anyone thought maybe Facebook would be a way to petition certain studios to release some widely wanted shows or continue stalled shows such as All in the Family , The Jeffersons, Maude or Mama's Family?

Are a lot of older people on Facebook and not just teens and young adults?

I ask that because for shows like Mama's Family and Maude I do not see a lot of younger people campaigning to have them on DVD.

Sure those shows have younger fans but not the majority. If there are a lot of adults on Facebook then maybe...

There are a lot of adults on Facebook (me included) but I am not sure how many of them are interested in classic tv on dvd

I think anything you can do to get the attention of the studios and let them know there are people interested in seeing these shows on DVD is a good thing. And that includes using Facebook.

I'm now Facebook friends with Paul Petersen and I have let him know that I am ready to make a page dedicated to seeing season 4 of The Donna Reed Show released on DVD, should it become necessary.

I think you mean WANT not WONT. WONT is the contraction of Will not. And I want Batman with Adam West as well. Never did watch Wonder Years.
