My mom had to go to the ER - please pray!!

My mom hasn't been feeling well the last couple of days. I was supposed to get up early and drive her to the doctor's office this morning to get blood work. I wondered why she hadn't woken me up when I get a call from my dad. He took the day off and drove her to the ER. She was feeling dizzy and is in right now getting tests. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers...I love her so much!!!!

Thank God - she's home now resting. She has a history of high blood pressure and her heart rate was up. I don't really know what went wrong, but at least she's here and that's all that matters. Thanks everyone for your prayers and support!! :bighug:

Oh............... I know how your feel. My mother is still in the hospital. She's been there for a month and a half. My mother has heart problems and breathing difficulties but she's coming along.

Thanks everyone!! She has to go in on Friday to see a cardiologist to follow up, so it we'll see where it goes from here. Right now she is on the couch relaxing, watching TV, and she ate dinner, so I take that as a very good thing. Praise God!!

Anyway, I'm very glad your mom seems to be improving. My dad had high blood pressure for decades and it was controlled quite well with medication. I'm sure the doctors will take good care of that most precious of resources, your mom. :)

Thanks again, everyone! She is doing OK - had to have a Holter monitor put in. In case you're not familiar with a Holter - it monitors an EKG for 24 hours.
