I'm a bit peeved at CBS at the moment. At the same time, I'm also happy. They finally moved The Ellen Show from wretched Friday night to Monday night where it has a better chance of succeeding. The problem is, they didn't seem to tell anyone. For the last few weeks I've thought the show was being preempted on Friday nights for Christmas specials, and I've been waiting patiently for it to come back. Well, tonight I was flipping through a TV Guide and discovered it's been on Monday nights and I've been missing it. Monday night is a great place for the show to be, but how does CBS think they're going to build an audience for the show if people don't know when it's on?

This week it will be on Monday. I don't believe it was on Mondays at all before then.

You're in luck, this monday is the first of only 4 monday night episodes. They have been promoted poorly, but hopefully CBS hs the right idea in showing it on a higher profile night.

Oh, that's good to know. But I wonder why they're only planning on four Monday night episodes? What happens after that? Do you know? Thanks.

I imagine that if the Monday night airings were super successful she'd stay there, unfortunately the first one wasn't (the ratings were about a million less than Yes Dear normally gets) but I'm sure they're hoping to hook some viewers who'll follow the show back to Fridays. Let's hope
