I'm taking the decorations down tomorrow. I wanted it to look festive for another holiday weekend. Are yours still up or have you taken them down?

When I lived with my Mom, she ALWAYS took them down the day after Christmas. Now that I'm living on my own, I still have them all up and I may just leave them up another month.

I absolutely hate taking down decorations. Mine are still up, but will be taken down this week.

I took mine down today for the most part, the rest I'll leave up until I get a place to put them away at. It's hard to do because I love them so much.

They went down yesterday aside from one little small decoration that probably won't get put up for another few days.

we just got into an argument over this on the weekend - I wanted to get them all down and put AWAY, she wants it to keep looking all festive and Christmasy until they get covered in dust.

the cats are on her side because they like the tree, so its staying up... for now.

I got my outside and most of my inside decorations down and packed away. I feel better that's done, all my totes aren't sitting around in my house. I still got my tree up though, and that will stay up for a few more weeks. I don't know why but I started doing that a couple years ago. Guess I don't want the WHOLE Christmas season to just go away.

They're all now down!

When I have a very bad year (like 2009) I would take my decorations down as soon as New Years Day.

When I have a good or great year, I would take my Decorations down the Sunday after Ephiphany.

I took mine down this past Saturday (2nd). I always have mine up from the Day after Thanksgiving to the day after New Years. :D

I took down the tree and everything on it today, and lugged all the boxes upstairs. It was exhausting work, but I'm proud to say frail little me did it all alone with no help!!! :D

I put them up the day after Thanksgiving and take them down a few days after New Years. After all the work and time it takes me I want to make it worth my while. But I do leave my winter things out like snowmen, wreaths, etc. They stay until Easter! Then my Easter stuff goes up about 4 weeks before Easter. I have so much stuff for every major holiday. I also decorate for Fall the day after Labor day and for spring/summer. I love to decorate!:D

I like to take down my decorations by New Year's Day. This year I took down all the inside things the day after Christmas. My house is small and it was crowded with the tree and everything (not to mention finding places for all the kids new gifts.) I am ashamed to say my outside decorations are still up. I want them down and put away, but everything is covered with snow and ice and the temps are soooooo cold. I'm not turning them on obviously and all my neighbors still have theirs up too. Tomorrow may hit 18 degrees so I might make the effort to take them down then. Who would've though 18 degrees would seem warm? :)
