Sex on balcony death?

I was just wondering about the episode where a co-worker had fallen off the balcony while having sex with her boss a few years back. Did they ever prove the boss intentionally pushed her off? Or was it a consentual sex? Was there really evidence that the two actually had sex as the boss had claimed? Thanks.

I know what case you're talking about. This past summer, in the new season of UM, there was an update: the update announced that they've obtained enough evidence to arrest her boss. He's slated to be on trial for the woman's death. I think it's going this fall or early 2002.

So did they even have sex though? Was that an issue at all or was the investigation just concerned with whether he threw her over or whether she fell over? I think if they can prove that sex actually occurred, then the boss could be vindicated. Anyways, how would they go about proving the two had sex? thru DNA?

It's been somewhat suggested that they might have had sex. However, some of those close to the victim have their doubts. They insist that she was committed to her fiance, and didn't believe in having intimate relationships with colleagues.

But some (if not all) of these questions will hopefully be answered as the trial goes on, which will be soon (unless it has already begun).

They have enough proof to conclude that it's a great possibility that she was in fact thrown over because:
1. the railing on the balcony was fairly high and she was fairly short, so she would have had to climb up (the boss claims that she was sitting on the railing, but they have reason to believe otherwise) and
2. they had a dummy that was the same height and weight of the victim, and they set it on the railing like the boss claims she was sitting. When the dummy fell, it landed quite far from where she was actually found. When the dummy was thrown over, it landed in almost the exact spot she was found. They did this several times and came up with the same results each time.
