New original show coming soon to Nick?

The AP is reporting Nick is going to make a new comedy series starring George Wendt called 'The Robertsons greatest hits'. Here's the quote--<<<<<Nick has agreed to make a pilot comedy called "The Robertsons Greatest Hits," with a father recounting the memorable moments in a family of six. Actor George Wendt, formerly of "Cheers," will star as the father. If it works out, Nick is looking to put it on the air next year.>>>

No word on whether it would air on Nickelodeon or Nick at Nite though.

It sounds like Nick at Nite! I hope it does not go through and never airs! If it does it better air before 8:30!

It sounds like it's going to bomb out. They tried having N@N create a series by themselves a few times, once with the extremly short-lived bomb, Hi Honey I'm Home. Geroge Wendt probably couldn't make me laugh today if he tickled me.

This sounds like it would be a awful(sp) show. I hope it does not go through. In my opinion, N@N should stick to old sitcoms like FOL, I Love Lucy, etc.

I Love Lucy is gone by October, it's moving to TV Land.
Nick at Nite will focus on late 70's and 80's shows. Three's Company, Diff'rent Strokes, Cheers, Family Ties, and Cosby Show will be their top shows by next March. Right now Three's Company and Diff'rent Strokes are just dominating the ratings!

So in your opinion you don't think Facts of Life will be on, or did you just forget about it.

I don't think they will be taking FOL off anytime soon. Too many people like it for them to take it off. FOL IMO would have to be in the top 5 of the most watched shows on N@N.
