Santa Claus is watching you also but you don't seem to be creeped out by that. :rolleyes:

He sees you when you're sleeping
He knows when you're awake
He knows if you've been bad or good
So be good for goodness sake!

Actually, I welcome the idea. That's the trouble in the world today, imo. People don't feel accountable for anything. That's why people pull the s%^& that they do. 'There's no God watching me, so I can do anything I want? The idea that God is watching me, actually gives me a sense of comfort. Just my opinion.

Same here. I take comfort in the song I learned as a little girl in Sunday School:

I Am Jesus’ Little Lamb
Hymn Lyrics

I am Jesus’ little lamb,
Ever glad at heart I am;
For my Shepherd gently guides me,
Knows my need, and well provides me,
Loves me every day the same,
Even calls me by my name.

Day by day, at home, away,
Jesus is my Staff and Stay.
When I hunger, Jesus feeds me,
Into pleasant pastures leads me;
When I thirst, He bids me go
Where the quiet waters flow.

Who so happy as I am,
Even now the Shepherd’s lamb?
And when my short life is ended,
By His angel host attended,
He shall fold me to His breast,
There within His arms to rest.

If you aren't doing anything you aren't supposed to do, you have nothing to worry about. ;)

I don't think God is interested in watching you pinch a loaf.

I find it comforting that God watches us all of the time. After all, he knows our mistakes, our good points, but still loves and forgives us anyway. It's up to each one of us to accept that unconditional love and forgiveness.

Psalm 121

Mark 12:41-44

A recent mini-sermon I saw online:

My two cents.

What beautiful thoughts.

I don't think about it much (God watching over me), but there are times that I'm very glad he is. Like the time that my brother and I were supposed to fly home to Dallas from Austin and there was a terrible thunderstorm. My aunt had to call the airline (this was back in the early 90's) to check on the flight. I was scared to death that we would crash and almost cried on the way to the airport. When we got there, we went to the gate and my DAD and stepmom were standing in line for the SAME flight. If that's not a sign from God, I don't know what is! BTW, we got home safely!

Isn't it, though? I've always loved that hymn. :D

I find it comforting that God's watching. I like the idea that he's watching out for and protecting me. People will probably think me silly, but I talk to him, it helps ALOT
