monkees hall of fame?!!

does anyone know if the monkees will ever be in the rock and roll hall of fame? i mean i keep hearing that people are fighting for it to happen but so far i have heard or seen anything latley so if anybody knows then please let me know! the monkees getting in there would be so important to me!!
