Some cases of unsolved mysteries are on dvds and a lot of the cases not on the dvds are on youtube and daily motion, just search unsolved mysteries.

Hmmm...videotapes.
Does anybody still have a VCR and if so, does it still work?
And if it does, is it still showing "12:00" on the clock?

It took a lot of researching and I don't remember the website where I read it off the top of my head, but I do remember reading somewhere that, as of 2010, 66% of all US households still use a VCR, and a small percentage (less than 10%) have never replaced or supplemented them with a DVD player. Personally for me, keeping up with current media formats has never been important to me, because I consider the actual entertainment value of what I'm watching to be more important than what media it's presented on, and besides, I really don't watch a lot of current TV anyway. Most of the stuff I like to watch (including my collection of UM episodes) is stuff I've taped over the years, and some of that stuff is irreplaceable at this point, so there's no way I'm ever getting rid of my VCR. In fact, I have a closet full of spares in case it does break.
