Why Did Carlos Fire Lynette?

I don't understand why he fired Lynette from her job last Sunday. That's messed up since he's supposed to be her friend since she's friends with Gabrielle. Plus why would he try to get her to move to Florida for a better job position when she told him she didn't wanna move? Then he puts her office in a damn janitor's closet. What's up with that? I see when it comes to having a job, there's no loyalty between the boss and employees. Bosses definitely don't give a sh*t about employees because when the company wants to save money, they get rid of people no matter how good their work is.

Personally I thought the whole situation was ridiculous. Too bad for Carlos if he has to find a temp replacement. That's his fricken job. That's why he's paid the big bucks. Lynette provided months more notice than the law requires (only 30 days before anticipated leave). He would have had about 4 months extra if he didn't pull his illegal stunt with the other pregnant lady. What's the big hardship? You can't tell me HR couldn't put out a job notice within a week or so, start interviewing in 2 weeks and pick someone inside a month.
