Stars Kristie mcnicoal and Dennis Quaid now if they did it now it would be a hit I think again with new stars and Reba sings the THE NIGHT THE LIGHTS WENT OT IN GEORIGA,, and yes on Desginging Women when Juilaa stood for her sis Suezann about she was the orginal song that was named for her lol.

OMG, at the time that movie came out I had a huge crush on Mark Hamill. That was the only reason I went to see it, but I know I saw it more than once. I haven't seen it in ages, but it was a pretty good movie. The soundtrack was great! I loved the duet that Kristy sang with Dennis Quaid. I'll have to see if that movie is available on DVD. I'd like to see it again. You are right; I think it would do pretty well as a remake. I'm thinking that a lot of people don't remember the original.
