Is it just my Dunkin' Donuts?

EVERY SINGLE TIME I go to my local DD, there's something always wrong. Here's a few things I've heard:


1. I asked for a latte and the clerk said "Sorry, the latte machine is down"

2.I asked for a cocoa another time "Sorry, the cocoa machine is down"

3. Ask for donuts/muffins/etc "Sorry, we're out"

4. Asked for a small coolatta - "Sorry, we're out of the small cups"

And tonight the kicker:

ME - "Hi, can I get a caramel apple muffin and a chicken parmesan flatbread"


CLERK - "Sorry, we're out of muffins and we can't prepare any food because we're out of gloves" :rolleyes:

Find a new DD ;)

There are a couple in my town. One, I never have any problems at, but at another close by, the staff is rude and the place is dirty and they can't fill my order for one reason or another.

To the OP, is it possible the person at DD doesn't like you? That's what it sounds like from your post.

That's the only thing I can think of, unless they are just that incompetent

no its always been different clerks and i don't frequent there that often to be a regular they would know.

I've stopped going to DD because everytime I order something they get my order wrong. Especially for the coffees. I've had it! :mad:

I don't have a DD in my area or even a Winchell's and they use to be everywhere.

Oh man, they are all over the New England area!! DD must be based out of one of those states. It became a little joke with us. We'd be driving and you'd see a DD, then a mile later, there was another DD!! I'm totally serious!!

Sounds like a more appropriate name for this DD store might be Dunno Doughnuts or perhaps Dumbo Doughnuts

...But first, I decided to buy some donuts

So I got in my car and I drove over to the donut shop
And I walked on up to the guy behind the counter
And he says "Yeah, what do ya want?"
I said "You got any glazed donuts?"
He said "No, we're outta glazed donuts"
I said "Well, you got any jelly donuts?"
He said "No, we're outta jelly donuts"
I said "You got any Bavarian cream-filled donuts?"
He said "No, we're outta Bavarian cream-filled donuts"
I said "You got any cinnamon rolls?"
He said "No, we're outta cinnamon rolls"
I said "You got any apple fritters?"
He said "No, we're outta apple fritters"
I said "You got any bear claws?"
He said "Wait a minute, I'll go check"
"No, we're outta bear claws"
I said "Well, in that case - in that case, what do you have?"
He says "All I got right now is this box of one dozen starving, crazed weasels"
I said "OK, I'll take that"

So he hands me the box and I open up the lid and the weasels jump out
And they immediately latch onto my face and start bitin' me all over
(rabid gnawing sounds)
Oh man, they were just going nuts
They were tearin' me apart
You know, I think it was just about that time that a little ditty started goin' through my head"

No wonder D&D wouldn't hire me... I would have stocked up the gloves, I would have cleaned out the drink machines and fixed them, I would have made sure the customers were happy. My goodness! :D
