As of now it is one week until Halloween so every night until then I will be making a little tribute to my top favorite horror villains.
I am only focusing on the originals and not the remake franchises.
1. Pinhead from the "Hellraiser" Series
http://i36.photobucket.com/albums/e10/JamesGrec/Pinhead.jpg
http://i36.photobucket.com/albums/e10/JamesGrec/Pinhead2.jpg
Name: Pinhead aka The Lead Cenobite
Human Name: Elliott Spenser
Born: 1888 in Great Britian
Height: 6 feet
Portrayed By: Doug Bradley in all films
Pinhead was born Elliot Spenser in upper-class British society in 1888.
When he was an adult he fought in WWI joining the British Expeditionary Force and rose to the rank of Captain. From the horrors of war he felt that he no longer had the right to live and lost his faith in God from the war.
Upon returning home from the war he found his gratification came from drugs, alcohol, and sex. When that didn't please him anymore he engaged in sadomasochistic activies now that his only pleasure came from pain.
In 1921 his life had forever changed when he went to a market in India and bought the Lament Configuration box; a small puzzle box in which another dimension is opened once it is solved.
From this point on Elliott Spencer became Pinhead when he was transformed into a Cenobite. The Cenobites are the guardians of Hell and suffer forever through hooks and other piercings through their flesh.
Pinhead became the leader of the Cenobites and now was in charge of capturing the souls of others who opened the puzzle box next.

2. Candyman from the "Candyman" Series
http://i36.photobucket.com/albums/e10/JamesGrec/Candyman2.jpg
http://i36.photobucket.com/albums/e10/JamesGrec/Candyman1.gif
Name: Candyman
Human Name: Daniel Robitaille
Born: Exact Date Unknown - 1800s in New Orleans, Louisiana
Height: 6’5”
Portrayed By: Tony Todd in all films
The Candyman was born Daniel Robitaille who was the son of a slave and became a gifted painter.
A wealthy plantation owner hired him to paint a portrait of his daughter and he fell in love with the daughter; named Caroline. Daniel winds up impregnating Caroline which causes the anger and disgust of the whole town.
Caroline’s father, followed by a mob, chase Daniel through a field and cut off his right hand with a rusty blade and then smear honey over his body. A boy tastes the honey and says, “Candyman!” and then the crowd shouts the name over and over in mockery as bees swarm over Daniel.
Caroline catches up to the mob but is restrained from her father from getting near. She has a mirror in hand and watches Daniel die through the mirror. Daniel’s hateful soul is now held in the mirror after his death and Caroline gives birth to the baby; a daughter.
In modern day the Candyman tale is an urban legend; you say the word “Candyman” in a mirror five times and then his spirit comes to the physical world and kills you. His ghost now wields a rusty hook where his right hand once was. The more you do not believe in him the more of a chance he has in showing up. Before he appears physically one will notice bees starting to arrive.
Throughout the series the ghost of Daniel Robitaille proceeds to hunt down his descendants, mostly the females, so that he can claim their souls to be joined together in the afterlife.

3. Chucky from the "Child's Play" Series
http://i36.photobucket.com/albums/e10/JamesGrec/Chucky2.jpg
http://i36.photobucket.com/albums/e10/JamesGrec/Chucky1.jpg
Name: Chucky
Human Name: Charles Lee Ray aka “The Lake Shore Strangler”
Born: 1950 in Chicago, Illinois
Height: 5’9”
Doll Height: 2’4”
Portrayed By: Brad Dourif in all films
Charles Lee Ray was a serial killer who terrorized Chicago in the 1980s. He was named “The Lake Shore Strangler” by the press and he was interested in voodoo/witchcraft.
The police close in on Charles Lee Ray and they engage in a shoot-out. Charles then breaks into a toy store and he is mortally wounded inside. Knowing he is dying he manages to find a “My Buddy Doll” in which he transfers his soul into it upon his death. The doll’s name was Chucky.
Chucky gradually becomes more and more human; having the ability to talk in his human voice, move on his own, feel pain... but he cannot totally become human without a human soul.
The first person that he tells whom he really is is the person whose soul he has to claim. That person was a little boy named Andy Barclay who gets the doll as a birthday present.
The early series shows Chucky having many failed attempts in trying to take over Andy’s soul.
The series takes a more comedic tone in the later installments; some say it wasn’t too serious to begin with but it becomes a horror-comedy spoofing on pop culture and fame.
In the later series Chucky’s human girlfriend, Tiffany, steals the Chucky doll from police evidence so she can have it and brings it back to life. Chucky then kills her and transfers her soul into a doll.
Chucky and Tiffany then give birth to “two children”, a gender confused gentle son named Glen and a homicidal daughter named Glenda who even Chucky is afraid of.

I was glad to see Tony Todd on "24" last season. Though his stint was brief, 5 or 6 episodes, he was good. He also briefly appeared in that 2 hour "24" special.

4. Leatherface from "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre" Series
http://i36.photobucket.com/albums/e10/JamesGrec/LeatherfaceOriginal-1.jpg
Name: Leatherface aka Bubba Sawyer / Junior
Born: Exact Date Unknown - 1940s in Texas
Height: 6’4”
Portrayed By: Originated by Gunnar Hansen. Different people each movie.
Leatherface is the mentally handicapped butcher of the Sawyer clan who live in an old farmhouse in a deserted part of Texas.
The Sawyer family were once employed in the local slaughterhouse and it is assumed that they closed so now the Sawyer’s use their methods on lost travelers as a means of survival; eating and selling their human flesh and taking their items.
Leatherface lives with his two brothers, Drayton the Cook and the un-named Hitchhiker, and the family’s really old grandfather in the house.
Drayton appears to be the most “sane” of the family and operates a nearby gas station where he sells “BBQ” to people while The Hitchhiker is mentally unstable; engages in self-mutilation, is sadistic in nature, and enjoys killing.
The Sawyer’s MO is to have The Hitchhiker be picked up by travelers where he proceeds to act crazy and they end up either getting rid of him or killed by him. Then the travelers look for a rest and wind up stopping at Drayton’s gas station where he directs them down a deserted road that leads to the farmhouse where Leatherface waits.
Leatherface dons the skin of his victims in masks that he makes himself. When he acts like “the butcher” he wears a butcher’s apron, when he wants to be “more domestic” he wears old woman’s clothes with a gray wig, and sometimes he wears a suit and tie.
He is often abused and ridiculed by his insane family and acts like he is afraid of them; though he is the most violent and biggest of them all.
Throughout the series the family does the same thing; pick up lost travelers to be hunted and killed.
It is assumed that they sometimes rape their victims so the family keeps growing and Leatherface is implied to have fathered a daughter; though it is never mentioned that she is his child or a child stolen from past travelers and raised by them.
In the last installment it is discovered that the Sawyer clan works for a government faction that wants to show people “the true meaning of fear”.

When a viral outbreak occurs in an underground lab and citizens are being attacked by “zombie beings” Wesker sends his crew to investigate; his true purpose was to send them so that he can report on how the bio-weapons handle combat and see who survived.
He planned on double-crossing both his team and Umbrella by killing everyone and taking the research for himself only his plan are foiled and he is presumed dead; killed by one of his own creatures.
However, prior to his death he injected himself with an experimental virus that re-generated his body after death giving him super-human abilities.

Resident Evil 5 (2009) - Wesker appears as the main antagonist in this game in which you learn the truth about his character, his connection to Umbrella, and what he plans to do.
He is killed by the player at the end.

6. Jason Voorhees of the "Friday the 13th" Series
http://i36.photobucket.com/albums/e10/JamesGrec/JasonVoorhees1.jpg
http://i36.photobucket.com/albums/e10/JamesGrec/JasonVoorhees2.jpg
http://i36.photobucket.com/albums/e10/JamesGrec/JasonVoorhees3.jpg
http://i36.photobucket.com/albums/e10/JamesGrec/JasonVoorhees4.jpg
Name: Jason Voorhees
Born: June 13th, 1946 in Camp Crystal Lake, New Jersey
Height 6'4"
Portrayed By: Different stuntmen with Kane Hodder playing him the most to date.
Jason Voorhees was born to Pamela and Elias Voorhees who worked at Camp Crystal Lake. Jason suffered from physical and mental disabilties at birth.
During the summer of 1957, Jason attended Camp Crystal Lake, where his mother worked as a cook. His appearance earned him ridicule and persecution from the other children and as a joke a bunch of them threw him into the lake.
Jason's body was never recovered and he was believed to have drowned in the lake.
In the summer of 1958, Mrs. Voorhees snuck into Camp Crystal Lake at night and murdered the two teenagers that were supposed to have been watching Jason. After this event the camp was closed and Mrs. Voorhees continued to prevent future attempts at opening the camp by setting fire to it and poisoining the water supply.
The camp was deserted up until 1979, until a man named Steve Christy tried to re-open the camp that his parents once owned. Mrs. Voorhees stalked the camp, killing off Christy and six of the hired counselors.
Mrs. Voorhees was killed by a surving counselor and she claimed to the police that "a boy" pulled her into the water but they said there wasn't any boy found.
How Jason was still alive after his childhood drowning is unknown; however he returned to Crystal Lake and lived in a shack in the woods where he kept his mother's mummified head.
When people now wanted to open the deserted camp again Jason, now wearing a pillow case over his head, went after them for intruding. He disappears for a while after he assumed to have been defeated.
He then made his way to a vacationing spot called Higgins Haven where he went after vacationers and took a hockey mask from one of the guests. He is then hanged from one of the guests and is assumed dead again.
Paramedics took his body to the morgue where he soon regained consciousness and then retuned to Crystal Lake where he came across the home of twelve-year-old Tommy Jarvis and his family.
Jason murdered the guests of a rented house next door before being discovered by Tommy's sister Trish. As Trish tried desperately to defend herself and her brother from Jason's attack Tommy managed to distract him before impaling him through the skull with his own machete and then hacking away until he was dead.
Following his death, Jason was buried at Eternal Peace Cemetery in the Crystal Lake area. Tommy Jarvis planned to destroy Jason's remains, but upon digging him up, rammed a metal rod through his heart in a fit of anger. Lightning struck the rod and brought Jason back to life.
Jason returned to Camp Crystal Lake—reopened as Camp Forest Green—and proceeded to kill his way through the new staff. Tommy then sunk Jason to the bottom of the lake and drowned him once again.
A girl named Tina Shepard returned to the area help her get over the death of her father, whom she had accidentally killed in Crystal Lake with her telekinetic powers years earlier.
While at the lake she attempted to use her powers to resurrect her father, but succeeded only in raising Jason from the dead. Jason killed a group teenagers vacationing next door to Tina.
Tina confronted Jason with her powers, eventually causing an explosion which sent him flying back into the lake. As Jason recovered from this assault she was saved by the spirit of her father, who rose out of the water and dragged Jason back into the lake.
Resurrected once again by an underwater electric cable snagged by a boat anchor Jason climbed aboard a cruise ship full of high school graduates bound for New York City.
He killed most of the teenagers and chased the survivors into NYC. Jason followed them into the sewers of Manhattan where he fell victim to a gush of toxic waste which flooded the tunnel and engulfed him.
Jason then escaped New York and eventually found his way back to Crystal Lake.
Meanwhile the FBI realized the threat Jason Voorhees posed and took action against him. Setting up a trap, they managed to physically blow Jason's body apart and took his remains to a local morgue.
The coroner became hypnotized by Jason's still-beating heart and proceeded to eat it. Jason managed to take possession of the coroner's body and escape.
However, he needed the body of another Voorhees to be truly reborn and he proceeds to track down his living relatives. It is then discovered that he can be killed by a relative and as he is being reborn through the corpse of his sister, his neice stabbed her uncle through the heart and he was sent to hell.
Jason relives his murders at Camp Crystal Lake in a seemingly eternal nightmare and was told to "wake up" by Freddy Krueger, a supernatural serial killer whose specialty was killing teenagers in their dreams.
Posing as Pamela Voorhees, Freddy manipulated Jason into going to Elm Street in the town of Springwood, whose citizens had repressed the memory of Freddy, thus robbing him of his powers.
When Jason started murdering teenagers on Elm Street, the people of Springwood began to suspect that Freddy Krueger had returned, and their fear replenished the dream demon's powers. However, Freddy struggled to get rid of Jason, who began imposing on his territory and stealing his potential victims.
Losing his patience, Freddy revealed his true identity to Jason, causing a battle to erupt between the two killers, which ranged from Freddy's dream world to Jason's home of Crystal Lake.
Freddy is assumed to have been defeated by being ripped apart by Jason who then walks into the lake and disappears.
Jason had been captured by the U.S. government by the year 2008 and he is sealed in a chamber.
As the centuries pass, Earth became too polluted to support life, with mankind moving to a new planet called Earth Two. Jason was finally discovered in the year 2455 by a group of students on a field trip to the abandoned world.
They took his body aboard their spacecraft, The Grendel, and when he unthawed he went after the crew. They defeat his body but it is left in the medical station, where his body was rebuild by the computer's advanced nanotechnology.
The computer replaced his missing body tissue with cybernetic technology, transforming him into "Uber Jason", who attacked the students again.
As the crew escapes Captain Brodski sacrificed himself by maneuvering himself and Jason away from the survivors and into the atmospere of Earth Two, where they were apparently burned to death and landed in a forest lake.

7. Freddy Krueger of the "A Nightmare on Elm Street" series
http://i36.photobucket.com/albums/e10/JamesGrec/FredKrueger-1.jpg
http://i36.photobucket.com/albums/e10/JamesGrec/FredvsJason.jpg
Name: Frederick "Freddy" Charles Krueger aka "The Springwood Slasher"
Born: Exact Date Unknown - 1940s
Height: 5'9"
Portrayed By: Robert Englund in all films
A young nun accidentally wound up trapped inside "the tower" of the Westin Hills psychiatric hospital where the worst of the criminally insane were held. The nun, Sister Mary Helena (real name Amanda Krueger), was raped by the inmates and she was found days later pregnant.
A son was born months later and the child was given up for adoption; the son being Freddy Krueger.
As a young child he was placed with an abusive step-father and he began killing animals and engaging in sadomasochistic activity; such as beating himself and/or enjoying the beatings from his step-father, and cutting himself.
As an adult he wound up marrying a woman named Loretta and they had a daughter together named Kathryn. They lived on Elm Street and over a period of time the Elm Street children started disappearing. His wife eventually stumbled upon a secret room in their basement where newsclippings and scrapbooks were kept of the Elm Street cases and Freddy's hat and glove were also there.
Loretta then confronted Freddy about it and mentioned that she won't tell but he was not hearing it so he killed her in front of their daughter.
Freddy Krueger was employed at the local power plant where he brought the children to and killed them there. The police had no leads on who the child serial killer was and he was named in the press as 'The Springwood Slasher'.
The police eventually found suspicion with the "odd boiler man" and moved into arrest him. His daughter was taken away and put into foster care upon his arrest. Due to the search warrant not being signed correctly all of the evidence against Freddy were inadmissible in court and he was released.
Right after he was released he went back to going after children.
The angry parents of the children whom he murdered knew he was in fact guilty and went down to his boiler room and threw molotov cocktails through the windows setting the place on fire.
Before death Krueger was approached by three dream demons who roam the earth looking for the souls of the worst kind and gave him the offer to live forever in dreams.
Freddy's burned remains were locked inside the trunck of a car that was put inside a junkyard and Kathryn's records were sealed. Now Freddy Krueger was nothing but a memory...
In the years gone by the Elm Street parents were tight-lipped about the "filthy child murderer" known as Freddy Krueger and tried to raise their children without any knowledge of him and especially if he had killed one of their siblings.
Then the children of the Elm Street parents wind up being haunted in their dreams by a burned man wearing a fedora with a razor-glove. The parents know who he is by the description but refuse to believe or act on what their children are telling them.
Throughout the next decade Freddy Krueger was entering people's dreams by feeding off of their fears and wound up entering the physical world and killed them.
Freddy overtime absorbed the souls of his victims which now gave him the power to blur dreams from reality. However, in order to move on from Elm Street he needed one soul in particular; his now-adult daughter Kathryn.
He tried to seduce her through psychic powers and some weird father-daughter bond to do his bidding but Kathyrn was not a killer and she was able to refuse Freddy's influence.
She then stabbed Krueger with his own glove, the dream demons were released and now Krueger was thrown into the abyss.
After Freddy Krueger's demise the town of Springwood sought to completely erase Freddy from history; going as far as locking up those who dreamed about him.
Without nobody remembering him anymore he didn't have any fear to feed off of and he could not do anything.
However, he came across another person in hell, Jason Voorhees, who was suffering from his own nightmares of seeing his mother die and re-living what he did.
Freddy then disguises himself as Mrs. Voorhees and was able to convince Jason to commit murders that were blamed on Freddy. Freddy then gained enough power from fear to resurrect again only now he couldn't get Jason to back down.
The two eventually have a face-off and Jason tears Freddy to pieces.

Of course the best is kept for last.
Due to the continuity of Myers' history changing in the later installments it called for two separate biographies.
8. Michael Myers of the "HALLOWEEN" Series
http://i36.photobucket.com/albums/e10/JamesGrec/Myers1.jpg
http://i36.photobucket.com/albums/e10/JamesGrec/MyersUnmasked.jpg
Name: Michael Myers aka "The Shape" , "The Boogeyman"
Born: October 1957 in Haddonfield, Illinois
Height: 6'2"
Portrayed By: Originated by Nick Castle. Different people each movie.
Biography #1 - 1, 2, 4, 5, 6
Michael Myers was born in October 1957 and his family lived in the suburbs of Haddonfield, Illinois.
As a boy, Michael heard a voice which told him to murder his family. The voice entered Michael's head through magic at the calling of Dr. Terrence Wynn, a medical doctor from the Smith's Grove Warren County Sanitarium and practicing cult member of The Thorn.
The Thorn is an ancient Druid cult that worshipped The Thorn Curse which meant one child from each tribe had to sacrifice members of their bloodline on the night of Samhain — Halloween.
Michael Myers was chosen to bear the curse for his generation under the guidance of the Thorn members.
Michael Myers neighbor and babysitter, Mrs. Blankenship, was also a member of the Cult of Thorn and would tell Michael stories about the true meaning of Halloween.
On October 31, 1963, the six-year old Michael was being babysat by her while his older sister, Judith, made love to her boyfriend in their home across the street.
Michael then walked across to his home and took a kitchen knife from the drawer. He waited for thte boyfriend to leave before heading upstairs and then stabbed his sister to death. He then walked out the front door to run into his parents while holding the bloody knife in his hands.
Michael was sent to the Smith's Grove Sanitarium for his crime where he would remain until his 21st birthday until he could be put on trial as an adult.
He received psychiatric treatment from Doctor Sam Loomis, a friend and colleage of Dr. Wynn's who was ignorant of the cult's activities.
Upon spending time with the boy, Loomis concluded that it was a hopeless case and that Michael Myers had no humanity left and pleaded that Myers be moved to a more secure facility on deaf ears.
While Michael was locked away his parents gave birth to a younger sister named Laurie. They were killed in a car accident in 1965 and Laurie was adopted by the Strode family.
On October 30th, 1978, Michael Myers broke out of his room and waited for Dr. Loomis to come with a car to be transported to the court house. He threw the nurse, Marion Chambers, out of the car and drove away heading back to his hometown.
The other doctors at Smith's Grove, including Dr. Wynn, say that Michael couldn't have gotten far since this must be his first time behind the wheel. Dr. Loomis said that Michael was doing very well the other night and that "someone here must have given him lessons"; quite possible that Dr. Wynn at one point taught Michael how to drive.
The next day on Halloween, a teenaged Laurie Strode dropped off a key at the Myers house for her realtor father and her brother knew who she was.
Michael proceeded to stalk her and her friends around town while Dr. Loomis tried to warn the local sheriff that his town was in danger.
During the night Michael Myers proceeds to kill his sister's friends and then tries to go after her. Laurie then fends Michael off and Dr. Loomis, while roaming the streets, hears screams coming from a house.
As he rushes inside and heads upstairs Laurie then pulls the stolen mask off of her attacker and Dr. Loomis recognizes Michael's face. He fires all 6 shots of his revolver at Michael who then falls off the second floor balcony. When Dr. Loomis leans to look over Michael's body is no longer there.
The injured Michael fled into the back alleys of Haddonfield and he learned the location of Laurie, taken to the Haddonfield Memorial Hospital, after hearing a radio report.
Dr. Loomis continues the hunt for Michael and the situation has called for sealed reports to be revealed; that Michael is Laurie's brother. Dr. Loomis is mad that he was not told of this fact and now understands that Michael wants to kill his other sibling.
Michael then gets to the hospital and kills the whole staff and begins the hunt for Laurie again. Dr. Loomis heads to the hospital as well and comes across Michael. He leads Michael to an ER where he releases gas and ignites a lighter causing an explosion.
Laurie, Dr. Loomis, and Michael survive the ordeal; though Dr. Loomis and Michael are severely burned and Michael goes into a coma for a decade.
Michael lie comatose at the Ridgemont Federal Sanitarium until October 30th, 1988, when he was arranged to be sent back to Smith's Grove. Discussions among the doctors that Laurie had died and that her daughter, Jamie, now lives in Haddonfield caused Michael to get up and escape to Haddonfield in the ambulance transporting him.
Meanwhile, Dr. Loomis, who had heard of Myers' escape, fears that Michael is heading back to his hometown again and heads there.
In Haddonfield, Jamie was suffering regular nightmares about her uncle. Her adoptive family do their best to care for her but do not realize what evil is in store.
Dr. Loomis arrives and warns the new sheriff that Myers has returned but they are skepitcal that he has arrived. When people start dying and the power supply is cut they realize there is a problem and they arrange to have Jamie and her adoptive sister Rachael protected in the sheriff's home.
However, when Michael found a way in and began killing their protectors. Jamie and Rachel were driven out of town to safety as the State police arrived to deal with Michael Myers. However, Michael had secretly hitched a ride under their truck, and Rachel was forced to take the wheel when he killed their driver.
She drove erratically as Michael clawed at her from the roof, eventually throwing him off the roof and hitting him straight on. Jamie went over to check her uncle's body and held his hand while the police yell to get away. Michael is shot at until he falls down a mineshaft and then he gets to a river and is swept away to a hermit's hut. He goes into a coma for a year and the hermit keeps him there.
Michael's evil had somehow affected her and that night she attacked her step-mom with a pair of scissors and was placed in the Haddonfield Children's Clinic. She shares a mental bond with him knowing when he awakens and when he is coming.
A year later Michael returned to Haddonfield and begins the hunt for Jamie.
Dr. Loomis and the sheriff arrange to trap Michael at his childhood home, using Jamie as bait. Ignoring Dr. Loomis' attempts to reason with him, Michael killed the remaining police officers and began chasing Jamie through the derelict Myers house.
He followed Jamie downstairs, where Dr. Loomis shot him with tranquilizers before finally beating him unconscious with a plank of wood. Michael was taken into custody at the Haddonfield Police Station where arrangements were being made to send him to a maximum security facility.
However, Dr. Terrence Wynn entered the station and machine gunned every officer in the building before disappearing with both Michael and Jamie.
Dr. Wynn had taken them to Smith's Grove where the Cult of Thorn performed experiments and impregnated Jamie while the Haddonfield residents assumed they were dead.
On October 30th, 1995, Jamie gave birth to a boy and escaped the sanitarium. After calling a radio station to alert Dr. Loomis that Michael was after her, Jamie hid her baby at a bus station and fled back to Haddonfield. When Michael forced her off the road, Jamie took refuge in an barn. SHe told Michael that he could not have the child and then he killed her and then he could not find the baby.
Meanwhile, a new family had recently moved into the Myers house, relatives of the couple who adopted Laurie Strode. The youngest, Danny Strode, was hearing voices telling him to kill, much like Michael had as a child.
Across the street, Tommy Doyle lived in a boarding house owned by Mrs. Blankenship and was obsessed with Michael Myers. Tommy Doyle was a young boy who Laurie Strode was babysitting the night of Halloween 1978.
After hearing Jamie's cry for help over the radio, Tommy tracked the call to the bus station and discovered her baby, who he named Stephen. He then contacted Dr. Loomis, who warned the Strode family that they were in danger.
Michael returned to his house and murdered the Strodes in search of Jamie's baby, leaving only Danny and his mother Kara alive. Kara and Danny were taken in by Tommy, who explained to them his theories that Michael Myers was cursed.
The Cult of Thorn arrived at the boarding house to retrieve Stephen, and Dr. Wynn finally revealed his true colors to Dr. Loomis. The cult then kidnapped Kara, Danny, and Stephen, leaving Tommy and Loomis drugged.
When they awoke, Tommy and Dr. Loomis tracked the cult down to the Smith's Grove Sanitarium. They encountered Michael Myers wandering the halls of the asylum, and witnessed him butchering several members of the cult. Michael then continued his search for Jamie's baby, only to be pumped full of drugs and beaten unconscious with a pipe by Tommy.
As Tommy, Kara, and the children prepared to leave Smith's Grove for safety, Dr. Loomis decided to go back inside to attend to some "business".
Both Dr. Loomis and Michael Myers' ultimate fate remain a mystery.
*In the film's original ending the Thorn Curse was passed on to Dr. Loomis and Michael Myers became his protector. This plot line was abandoned due to its poor reception and the death of Donald Pleasance*

Biography #2 - 1, 2, 7, 8
Michael Myers was born in October 1957 and his family lived in the suburbs of Haddonfield, Illinois.
Up until Halloween 1963 Michael was a normal child and experienced no signs of psychosis.
He stabbed his older sister Judith to death after her boyfriend left and he was discovered by his parents with a bloody knife in hand.
Michael was sent to the Smith's Grove Sanitarium for his crime where he would remain until his 21st birthday until he could be put on trial as an adult.
He received psychiatric treatment from Dr. Sam Loomis who recognized that Michael was of a pure evil nature but the staff did not listen to his warnings.
Dr. Loomis and Laurie survived the ordeal but Michael Myers' body was never recovered.
Although Michael Myers was presumed dead rumors of his existence spread and various violent incidents were unofficially attributed to possibly being his work.
Dr. Loomis dutifully continued his search for Michael Myers with the somewhat skeptical help of Marion Chambers. He maintained a home study recording Myers' movements and possible crimes, which ranged from gruesome murders to missing animals and robberies.
Michael decided that Halloween 1998 would be the night for a family reunion with Laurie Strode.
He broke into the Langdon home Nurse Chambers to uncover more information his dead sister. Marion came home to discover the break-in and was aided by her neighbours. They all were killed by Myers and the police speculated that Michael Myers may have been responsible for the killings and made a call to Haddonfield to be on the alert.
Michael tracked Laurie, living under alias Keri Tate, to Hillcrest Academy, a boarding school in Summer Glen, California where she worked as headmistress.
Her son and Michael's nephew, John Tate, was also a student at the school and he became annoyed with his mother's worries about her older brother's attack twenty years ago.
During a night when th school heads off on a boarding trip Michael tracks down his sister at the school. She decided at that point to stop running and face her brother ready to kill him if she had to. She proceeds to stab Michael until he is knocked out and then she is restrained from the security guard from getting closer.
As the police arrived at Hillcrest Michael awoke and attacked the paramedic who was about to move his body. He crushed the man's larynx, rendering him mute and unconscious, and switched clothes with him.
Meanwhile, outside, she was unconvinced that her brother was dead, and proceeded to steal what she thought was his body and drive off with it in the coroner's van.
As the confused paramedic regained consciousness in the back of the van, she deliberately crashed the vehicle, sending them both crashing down a hill and trapping the man underneath the van. She prepared to finish Michael Myers off once and for all, and after pausing momentarily she chopped his head off with an axe.
As all of this went on, the real Michael slipped off into the woods and was long gone.
After killing an innocent man, the guilt-stricken Laurie Strode had been arrested and sent to Grace Anderson Sanitarium.
She was believed to be in a catatonic state by the nurses, but was secretly preparing for her brother's inevitable return who finally appeared on Halloween 2001.
She lured him onto the roof of the institution, where he became caught in the trap she had laid for him. Michael dangled over the edge of the roof and Laurie mockingly told him she was no longer afraid of him. As she prepared to cut his rope, Michael feigned confusion, grabbing at his mask much like the paramedic she killed had done.
Unable to risk taking another innocent life, Laurie hesitated and attempted to remove Michael's mask to be sure. Michael took advantage of this and stabbed her to death.
One year later, on October 30 2002, six college students win a competition to appear on an Internet reality show in which they are to spend Halloween night in the childhood home of Michael Myers.
Their mission is to find out what led him to kill. The event goes horribly wrong as Michael returns home.
Michael Myers, though severely burned after the ordeal, is alive.
