Happy 60th birthday to my uncle...

My Uncle Albert would be 60 years old today. He was such a great man. He never was married or had children of his own, but he always doted on my sister, our cousins, and me. We had so many great times with "Bubba", going to the circus, the amusement park, and whatever else he had planned. He died of complications of juvenile diabetes at age 54 in 2003. Happy 60th birthday up in Heaven, Uncle Bubba. I wish we could have had a little more time together.

Thanks, Marv :) We truly were blessed to have him in our lives.

My parents are both from 5-kid families and both have already lost two siblings who died in their 40's and 50's. I'd give anything to spend one more day with each of them.

He sounded like a great guy Kristen. You were lucky to have him in your life. :) I know how you feel. I wish I could spend just one more day with my Aunt Loretta and Uncle Johnny. Next to my parents they were my closest family and I miss them terribly.
