The Weather Channel is continuing to shift away from only offering seven-day forecasts.
Cabler has added movies to its lineup and will begin with "The Perfect Storm" on Oct. 30. Theatricals will continue to unspool Fridays in November.
Other weather-themed pics to air: "March of the Penguins" (Nov. 6), "Misery" (Nov. 13) and "Deep Blue Sea" (Nov. 20).
Moves come under the helm of Michael Kelly, who was named president-CEO in July. Net's morning show "Wake Up With Al" also began in summer.

I was going to say Gone With The Wind but that's not about a hurricane.
When I was younger I always thought it was about a hurricane or a storm..heh.

The Weather Channel has now JTS. All I care about is my local forcast anyway. If I want to watch movies , I'll watch it on a movie channel.

I guess airing Misery on the weather channel will show famous authors and people why it's bad to drive in snowy and icy weather.
