Remember back about 2 months ago I said on here I was going to tell my father I was gay, I did say it to him yesterday like I promised. It went well. He kind of guessed it. Im glad it went well because I was sooo nervous telling him.

I am happy to hear that it went well with your dad. That was a very brave thing to do, congratualtions, to be open with your father. I hope this brings some positive closure in your life:)

Glad to hear it went well. I think with a lot of people, it is known that they are gay and coming out is not a surprise. As you mentioned, your dad was not surprised though he was accepting. It takes a lot of courage to come out and it also takes an open-minded and accepting person to accept their relative/friend for who they are.
Unfortunately, some people are not so lucky. Some are shunned because of their sexuality, but at least you know you have people to turn to when things get tough and they won't judge you.
