Did anyone else watch this cartoon as a kid? I was only a year old when it premiered on NBC in 1981. I first saw it when they reran it on the syndicated "Marvel Action Universe" in 1988. UPN put it back on TV 10 years later on their "Action Zone" comic cartoon block. The cartoon teamed Spider-Man with two mutants: Iceman and Firestar. Iceman was my favorite. I liked how he would surf New York on his ice bridges! I certainly hope Cartoon Network considers putting this on their lineup.

That's one of my favorite cartoons of all time. I loved the episodes where the X-Men guest starred. I started collecting comic books because of it.
I remember that show, and I really enjoyed it, especially when other superheros showed up in episodes of the cartoon. The X-Men, Thor, Captain America, and The Hulk were just some of the characters who appeared on it.

I remember it back in 1979 as Spiderman then in the 1981 they change it to Spiderman and His Amazing Friends to put Iceman and Firestar in the mix. One of my favorite episode is the one the Spiderfriends went to Hollywood and along the way they met Bruce(The Hulk)Banner and help him to get a job on the set.
