FX's bawdy comedy "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" returned Thursday night up 57% among adults 18-49 and climbing 22% in total viewers.
"Sunny" drew 2.2 million viewers and 1.8 million in the adult demo.
Those are striking increases for a show in its fifth season -- and comes on the heels of FX scoring major gains for the return of "Sons of Anarchy."
