Courteney Cox treated best pal Jennifer Aniston to a sneak peek of her new ABC sitcom, Cougar Town, in which her character, Jules Cobb, squeezes her stomach fat and gets caught by her son and ex-husband, moments away from pleasuring a hot young lover. Jen watched it during a recent sleepover at Courteney’s house. “She said she loved it,” Courteney told me. But when I spoke with Jen the night she was honored at the 2009 Women in Film Crystal + Lucy Awards, she admitted, “I was a little bit shocked. Courteney’s a brave young lady.” Don’t count on Jen making a guest appearance, as she did on Courteney’s old series Dirt. “We’re not cougars yet,” insists the 40-year-old actress, who has been linked to younger studs Bradley Cooper, 34, and John Mayer, 31. “I don’t even know where this whole ‘cougar’ thing came from.” No worries, says Courteney. “We can always write in a character for her who isn’t actually a cougar.”

If Aniston is smart, she'll stay away from this show permanently.

It is terrible!

I may check this show out once, but it sounds a little weird to me. Who wants to watch someone as thin as Courtney Cox trying squeezing their stomach fat? Besides, I think she'd have a really hard time even finding any!Yuch!

Don't even bother. It is a wretched show. I can't believe that Courteney Cox would agree to be on such a terrible, horrible show.

Hell, Joey was better than this!! Even Lisa Kudrow's bad HBO sitcom -- I can't remember the title -- was better than this. And I thought that show was terrible!!

I hope this show gets cancelled and that Cox shows better judgment for her next show.

Wow, I never thought I'd hear anyone say a show was worse than Joey. Oh, Lisa Kudrow's HBO sitcom was entitled The Comeback. Apparently, that was one comeback that didn't last too long!!

Joey wasn't bad, it just wasn't very good.

Lisa Kudrow's show, IMO, was really bad.

Until Cougar Town, anyways. Maybe I'll re-watch and re-evaluate The Comeback.

Nahh! I'll go watch an old M*A*S*H and be thoroughly entertained instead.:D

Thanks for the warning. The only reason I would have watched it is out of curiosity anyway. Sadly that's the only reason I watch most new shows these days.

And of course, there's always Friends, which I can still watch and enjoy.

Particularly, the first five seasons.
