I'd like to see how the boys are doing, as reading that whole thing makes it sound like they were screwed no matter what parent got them

Her own child testified aganist her and stated he wanted to go back with the father who kidnapped him for 7 years due to his mothers drug use and mental instability. (UM didn't touch either of those subjects)

Then later when interviewed the boys state they don't love their mother and want to go back.
